Personal Impressions
What I like
Personally, I am a enthusiastic fan of Hiroshige Ando, owning many large & heavy art books of his work. I am very satisfied to get this deck that I can look at his work as a handy card size.
I use this deck daily with a tarot deck as a substitute for minor arcana. Its various scenery, daily life and people of Edo period drawn in detail gives me so much imagination that I’ll never run out of intuition from these cards. The photo below is how I use this deck with “Wa Tarot“.
What I don’t like
If you want to use it purely as a playing cards deck, the impact of numbers is weak and may be difficult to use. However, I guess most of the people who get this deck are to enjoy its artwork.
Where to buy
As of the end of 2019, it seems to be available at various online shops, souvenir shops in Japan, etc.
Wrap Up
Not only do you use it as a practical playing cards or tarot deck, but you can also put it on your desk and enjoy genuine Hiroshige Ando’s work daily.
